Dorota Siuda was born in Zielona Gora in Poland. She studied at the Music Academy in Bydgoszcz, where she received her diploma degree in 1988. She then moved to the United States where she attended the University of Southern California, earning her diploma four years later.
Ms Siuda has won prizes in several prestigious international competitions, including the Henryk Wieniawski Violin Competition and the Yehudi Menuhin International Competition. In 1994 she joined Musica Vitae Chamber Orchestra in Sweden, and was a few years later appointed concertmaster.
Highly in demand as a soloist with various orchestras in Sweden, on the Continent, and elsewhere, Ms Siuda has toured extensively together with Musica Vitae, both as concertmaster and as a soloist.
