Welcome, conductor Gustaf Sjökvist.
On Saturday, this weekend, we are playing together with
his chamber orchestra and world famous soprano, Malena Ernman.
The concert is a portrait of swedish composer Sven-David Sandström and a part of Lund Choir Festival. Our concert takes place in Lund at Allhelgonakyrkan at 19.00, Saturday 20 october.

On Wednesday September 5th a recording of film music is taking place here in Utvandrarnas Hus. Composer Anders Wall has
written a piece for us to play in a short story film called "KK" by director Wiktor Ericsson. The film can be seen next year at
Göteborg International Film Festival 2013.

Exposition - repris
Exposition - repris (replay) is the name of a new
piece of contemporary music written by Ole Lützow-Holm
commissioned by the orchestra.
The composer has in this piece given the orchestra
freedom to improvise. He describes his new work as a park.
"Sometimes you take a stroll, sometimes you walk in a hurry.
But it 's still in the same park."
Premier Saturday March 31, 15.00 at Utvandrarnas Hus.
April 3 in Gothenburgh, 19.00.

Rainer Honeck is once more our guest, this time with music by the Viennese masters Mendelssohn, Schubert, Mozart and Maestro Honeck himself! Rainer Honeck is an outstanding violinist, playing an outstanding violin; a Stradivarius built in 1709. The instrument is a loan by courtesy of the Austrian National Bank.

A Sound for Sore Ears
A warm welcome to director Nathalie Stutzmann
and soprano Lisa Larsson.
The orchestra has created a different set favouring the perfect
sound: from the left; violin, viola, double base and finally cello.
Lisa Larsson stands on the floor. Looking a little bit small and lonley.
But that is in no sense true. Filling the hall with a magnificent voice
she is right in the center of the team.
